A drone can be deployed within a matter of minutes and positioned above an incident such as an oil spill, pipeline leak, fire, flood or scene of an accident. A live feed of the incident can be used by incident managers and emergency response teams to assist in decision-making and resource deployment. Recorded footage can be invaluable in post-incident legal proceedings.
Security breaches can also be monitored by a quickly-deployed drone and can be particularly useful at night when the drone is fitted with IR cameras.
